Hi. Does anyone have any concrete information about whether or not it is possible to format text in a META tag?
I've had a strange request from a client: he wants to use bold formatted text in his META tag description. I feel like this isn't possible and that the description will just appear as <strong>word</strong> in the search engine results, but I can't find any proof to confirm or deny.
